World Against Toys Causing Harm, also known as WATCH, released the 2018 top 10 list of worst toys for this holiday season. From choking hazards to potential facial injuries, the non-profit organization discusses why these toys are better off on children's wish lists and not in their hands.

The Nickelodeon Nella Princess Knight Pillow Pets Sleeptime Lites, which is manufactured by CJ Products, Inc., made the list because of its potential for ingestion and battery-related injuries. Its recommendation is 0+ and warns parents that the toy is not intended to be used in a crib and states a battery acid leakage can cause personal injury.
The Cabbage Patch Dance Time Doll is manufactured by Wicked Cool Toys LLC and has an age recommendation of 2+. WATCH says the doll could cause choking injuries because of its removable headband.

This wooden pooch, manufactured by Janod; Juratoys has an age recommendation of 12 to 36 months. The toy, called Chien Á Promener, has the potential for entanglement and strangulation injuries but does not come with any warnings, according to WATCH.
The Cutting Fruit toy by Kid O Toys could cause puncture and blunt force injuries with its plastic "slicing knife," WATCH warns. Its age recommendation is for children 2 or over and warns parents to remove the packaging material before giving the toy to their children.

WATCH put the Nerf Vortex VTX Praxis Blaster, manufactured by Hasbro, on the list because it could potentially cause eye injuries. The toy is recommended for kids 8+ and comes with a choking hazard warning and cautions children not to aim at faces or eyes.
Nici Wonderland Doll: Miniclara the Ballerina, distributed by Nici, is meant for children 2+ but comes with the potential for choking injuries, according to WATCH. The group alleges that the doll's removable kitten accessory could be ingested and the toy does not come with a warning.
Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel Superstar Blade is recommended for kids 4+ but comes with the potential for blunt force and eye injuries, WATCH says. The toy is manufactured by Bandai America Incorporated.

The Zoo Jamz Xylophone, made by Vtech Electronics North America, poses a choking hazard because of the drumstick it includes. The toy is recommended for children 1-to-4-years-old and does not come with any warning.
