Twitter partnered with Comcast and its subsidiary NBCUniversal to let its users watch or record programs simply by using a link embedded in tweets.
Twitter will feature a "See It" button in selected tweets that will let users watch the program live-streamed to their wireless device, computer or set-top box or set their DVR to record the program, according to The Next Web. The feature is only available to Comcast Xfinity TV's 24 million customers and will launch in November.
Comcast's chief business development officer Sam Schwartz said the idea originated at his company and that it hopes to involve other pay-TV and TV networks in the project. Comcast also has an advertising deal with Twitter where both sell ads "against short video clips,"
according to AllThingsD.

While some are saying the partnership isn't as grand as it sounds -- Twitter only has 50 million U.S. users -- Twitter is definitely getting the most out of the deal. Still fresh from announcing its $1 billion initial-public offering, its partnership with a major TV network and cable company only makes its decision to go public more alluring to investors.
