U.S. Finds No Link to Russia in Downing of MH17

U.S. intelligence officials said Tuesday that they had found no direct link between the Russian government and the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. Intelligence analysts believe that pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine fired the missile that took out the jetliner killing 298 people, but the officials could not say so definitively -- leaving the most plausible explanation to be that the separatists took down the plane by mistake. Administration officials have said that Russia possibly may have provided specific training to separatists and are still providing the rebels with military gear.
