A stretch of the 710 Freeway in Long Beach reopened Monday following a big rig crash that left a man dead, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All lanes of the northbound side of the freeway were temporarily closed at the 405 Freeway connector, the CHP said. Traffic was diverted at Willow Street.
The cause of the 9:47 a.m. crash was not immediately clear. The big rig overturned and blocked lanes.
