The mother of a newborn found dead in a Victorville parking lot was arrested the next day, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department said Monday.
Teresa Reed, the 38-year-old mother, was arrested after investigators determined she was the person who gave birth to "Baby Doe."
She was booked on suspicion of murder.
The baby was found around 12 p.m. Sunday in a parking lot off of 7th Street and Green Tree Boulevard.
