Police shot and killed a driver armed with a sawed-off shotgun in San Bernardino Saturday night after a stun gun failed, police said.
Cody Wayne Jarrett, 26, was pulled over for driving a stolen Honda Accord around 9:18 p.m. near Highland and Mountain View avenues, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Police said Jarrett exited the car wielding a sawed-off shotgun and officers tried to use a stun gun.
When that failed, police said officers then shot Jarrett, who was taken to the hospital where he later died.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
