Amid Olympic celebrations around the world, West Adams was set to host its own opening ceremony viewing party Friday.
The LA84 Foundation, founded as a legacy of the 1984 Olympic Games, and the Boston Consulting Group will play the 2016 opening ceremony on a large outdoor screen in the LA84 Foundation’s courtyard in West Adams. The event is for invited community education and civic partners of LA84.
The event will feature Brazilian food, and Olympic-sport themed activities.
Festivities start 6 p.m. at the LA84 Foundation located on 2124 West Adams Boulevard in Los Angeles.
