K-8 School for Students With ADHD to Open in Irvine

The Children's School will open a new Irvine campus in September, officials announced Thursday.

The school will serve 119 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The nonprofit assists children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and related disabilities.

The academic program was developed at UC Irvine's Child Development Center.

Sabrina Schuck, assistant professor of pediatrics at UCI, will join a team of child development scholars in guiding the 13,778-square-foot school, scheduled to open in September at 3400 Michelson Drive.
