Man Accused of Taking Upskirt Photos at Palmdale Train Station Arrested

In security video, the victim sees the flash from the suspect's camera under her skirt, and confronts the suspected peeper.

A man who allegedly snapped a photo under a woman's skirt at the Palmdale Metrolink station has been arrested, authorities said Monday.

Investigators last week released security images of a man snapping the illicit photo about 5 a.m. July 31 at the station at 39000 Clock Tower Plaza Drive East.

Details of the arrest, including the suspect's name, were not immediately released.

The security images showed the man "secretly taking pictures under the skirt of a victim as she waited for a train,'' according to the sheriff's department.

Video shows the woman notice the flash as the suspect snapped the photo under her skirt, and she turns and yells at the suspect, who then walked away from the station.

Sheriff's officials said the brazen nature of the man's actions in a public place led them to believe that other women may have been victimized.

Anyone who believes they may have been targeted was urged to call Detective Nisenoff at 661-272-2465.
