A paparazzo was struck by Justin Bieber's truck outside the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on Wednesday evening, police said.
The crash was reported around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Hamilton Drive and Wilshire Boulevard.
The photographer, who was attempting to snap photos of the pop singer leaving an event in Beverly Hills, was struck and knocked to the ground.
Witness Austin Hare told NBC4 that Bieber hopped into a black Ram truck and "at that point paparazzi were flooding all around the vehicle."
"[He] was trying to pull out of the driveway ... and as he was turning, he clipped one of the paparazzi."
The paparazzo was taken to a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Beverly Hills police say Bieber cooperated fully and was released after what they called an "unfortunate traffic accident."
