A single-engine Cessna airplane with two people on board made an emergency landing Saturday on Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, authorities said.
The landing was reported at 2:13 p.m. north of Capistrano Beach, Capt. Tony Bommarito of the Orange County Fire Authority said.
"There was a loss of power," Bommarito said.
The 63-year-old man piloting the plane and the 25-year-old man in the passenger seat were not injured, nor was anyone on the ground, he said.
