Police Seek Help in Identifying Garden Grove Bank Robber

The robber was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from one of the tellers

Garden Grove police have released surveillance images of a man suspected of robbing a bank Wednesday afternoon after brandishing a semi-automatic handgun in front of an employee.

The man entered the US Bank on the 12000 block of Valley View Street just after 1:30 p.m. According to police, the man drew a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from one of the tellers. The teller complied and also yelled at another teller to remove money from her workstation.

The man took money from two teller workstations and was last seen heading northbound through the parking lot.

The robber has been described as an Asian male in his 20s wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt, a black baseball cap with a white front panel with a black logo on it and sunglasses.
