Officials responded to a possible car-to-car shooting in the Carson area after a driver reported having a window broken while heading northbound on the 405 Freeway at the 110 Freeway connector Friday afternoon.
The driver told authorities they believed the window was broken by gunfire.
The incident was reported at 2:37 p.m., according to officials from the California Highway Patrol .
Investigators determined a short while later a shooting did not occur
It is unclear if there are any injuries related to the incident at this time.
