Preliminary 3.0-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Big Bear Area

A 3.0-magnitude earthquake shook the Big Bear area Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit three miles north of Big Bear City around 12:20 a.m. 

Residents in the Big Bear Lake area reported feeling the temblor to the U.S. Geological Survey's site.
