Public Forum Held for Long Beach Mayoral Candidates

Long Beach mayoral candidates took questions focusing on issues of importance to Latino voters during a public forum Sunday afternoon.

Latinos make up 40.3 percent of the city’s residents, according to a statement from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Six of eight candidates were in attendance at the forum being held at the Museum of Latin American Art.

The event was sponsored by NBC4 and moderated by reporter Mekahlo Medina.
