A family endured a terrifying night after robbers armed with pepper spray stormed into their Rancho Cucamonga home.
The homeowners and three children were in the residence at the time of the violent home invasion, just before 9 p.m. in the 6700 block of DiCarlo Place. Four family members, including a 10- and 16-year-old boy, were pepper sprayed.
Another child was in a different part of the house.
The robbers took off before police arrived. No arrests were reported Friday morning.
It was not immediately clear whether anything was taken from the home. Detailed descriptions of the robbers were not immediately available.
Detectives were reviewing security camera video from the neighborhood.
