Santa Ana Police Release Sketches of Man Wanted in Sex Assaults

Police were asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say is responsible for two sexual assaults in Santa Ana within the last four months.

The man allegedly attacked his first victim on Sept. 4 and the second on Jan. 1. Both incidents occurred within the areas of McFadden Avenue and Raitt Street in Santa Ana, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

On both occasions, police say the man started a conversation with the female victims, who were walking alone, before he attacked them.

Police released two sketches of the man on Thursday in hopes someone can help identify him.

The man is described as about 24 to 29 years old, between 5 feet 4 and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 150 to 165 pounds.

Anyone with information was asked to call Det. Javier Aceves at 714-245-8542 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-847-6227.
