Images Released of Man Wanted in Deadly Assault at Hollywood Taco Truck

Images of a man who is accused of robbing and killing another man at a Hollywood taco truck have been released.

Police released security images of an attacker sought in the killing of a man during a robbery at a Hollywood taco truck and noted that a $50,000 reward is up for grabs.

Jarick Henderson, 31, of Los Angeles was attacked about noon on March 16 near the 1500 block of North La Brea Avenue. He died at a hospital.

"The victim was at a taco truck (when) investigators believe the suspect took the victim's property from a nearby table and attempted to flee," according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement. "The victim chased the suspect and began to fight with the suspect (who) violently assaulted the victim, causing his death."

The attacker removed the red/orange hooded sweatshirt he was wearing, and was wearing a white T-shirt, gray pants with red letters or a stripe on them, and Vans style shoes when last seen exiting the Metro Red Line area at the Civic Center on First and Hill streets in downtown Los Angeles, police said. He was described as black, 25-30 years old and 6 feet tall, with short bushy dreadlocks.

The city of Los Angeles offered the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call LAPD West Bureau homicide detectives at 213-382-9470; 877-LAPD-24-7; or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
