Serial LA Metro Groper Pleads No Contest to More Crimes

Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer says his office has secured another conviction of a 26-year-old man for serially groping women and girls on Metro buses.

The city prosecutor's office announced Tuesday that Ager Linder pleaded no contest to two counts of child molestation, three counts of sexual battery and one count of battery on a public transportation passenger.

Prosecutors will seek a term of 4½ years when Linder is sentenced on Feb. 19.

Linder has nine previous convictions for incidents on transit throughout the region, the most recent in January for groping at least four women while riding the Metro Red Line subway.

Metro campaigns against sexual harassment with announcements warning against unwanted touching, comments and gestures, and has a hotline for victims to talk to counselors.
