A man in his 30s was wounded in a shooting at a laundromat in the area of Witmer Street and Third Street in the Westlake District Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The shooting, which occurred at approximately 3:08 p.m., led to a police pursuit of a white sedan, with all occupants exiting the vehicle in the area of Temple Street and Glendale Boulevard in Echo Park, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The LAPD said three people exited the vehicle, according to City News Service.
Newschopper4 Alpha was over the perimeter at approximately 3:40 p.m. and observed at least one person detained by law enforcement. Los Angeles police later said that all three people were taken into custody, CNS reported.
The condition of the person wounded in the shooting was not immediately known.
