2022 NHL All-Star Game: Schedule, Time, TV Channel, How to Watch

2022 NHL All-Star Game: Schedule, Time, TV Channel, How to Watch originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The NHL all-star game is back!

After a year away, the 2022 NHL all-star game will take place in Paradise, Nevada on Feb. 5. The format will once again replicate the version fans enjoyed in 2020, when the four divisions competed in the three-on-three tournament first seen in 2016 and is now a staple of the league's overtime periods.

The tournament will feature three games played in the three-on-three format. Each of the four teams will include six forwards, three defensemen and two goaltenders.

Fan voting ended on Saturday and the captains and team rosters will be revealed in ESPN's 6 p.m. airing of "SportsCenter" on Thursday. While we await Alex Ovechkin's name to be called to represent the Metropolitan Division, here's everything else you need to know about the NHL's midseason showcase festivities.
