Los Angeles Lakers guard Andre Ingram will throw the ceremonial first pitch before Friday's Los Angeles Dodgers-Arizona Diamondbacks game at Dodger Stadium, three days after scoring 19 points in his NBA debut at the age of 32.
With guards Lonzo Ball and Isaiah Thomas sidelined by injuries, Ingram was signed by the Lakers Monday after playing the previous six seasons with their NBA G League affiliates, the South Bay Lakers and Los Angeles D-Fenders.
Ingram's 19 points were the fourth most by a Laker in his career debut since the team moved to Los Angeles in 1960 behind Magic Johnson (26), Nick Van Exel (23) and Jerry West (20), according to the Elias Sports Bureau, the NBA's official statistician.

A special hot dog and chorizo will be available at Dodger Stadium for the three-game series against the Diamondbacks. The "Desert Chili Cheese Dog" is a bacon-wrapped hot dog with house-made chili con carne, grated sharp cheddar cheese, diced tomato and onion, yellow mustard.
The "Chorizo Torta" is a chorizo sausage split in half with ranchero bean spread, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, queso fresco and smoked jalapeno aioli.
A fireworks show set to music from the 1970s will follow the game.
Fans will be invited onto the field to watch the show, which will take place before 11 p.m. and is subject to cancellation if the game lasts too long.
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Tyler Fletcher will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game. Fletcher joined the Air Force in 2007. He served a tour in South Korea as an avionic sensors technician and has been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Fletcher is a section chief at Edwards Air Force Base, where his primary duty is to oversee the men and women who maintain the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter.
