It makes some sense, the rumor all over the Internet that Lamar Odom will be going to the Oscars with Taraji Henson. They are seeing each other.

The couple, who have been dating for a little over a month now, have made several red carpet appearances together including the 66th Annual Golden Globes HBO After Party and Global Grind Grammy party with Russell Simmons this past weekend.
Secondly, Henson was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Queenie in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. If you didn’t see her in that, you probably saw her as Shug in Hustle & Flow. Your parents probably saw her on Boston Legal.
So far it all makes sense. Odom and Henson are together. Henson is nominated for an Oscar. Therefore….
Until you look at the Lakers schedule. The day of the Oscars the Lakers have a game on the road in Minnesota. At the same time as the Oscars. You know the Lakers would never schedule a home game the night of the Oscars because they’d lose two-thirds of the people in the lower bowl. But in Minnesota, what do they know of Oscars?
The odds of Phil Jackson giving Lamar Odom the okay to skip the game to go to some parties are about the same as him bringing Smush Parker back.
