Yasiel Puig, Curtis Granderson, and Corey Seager all homered and the Los Angeles Dodgers put a punctuation mark on the regular season at Dodger Stadium with a 10-0 rout of the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night.

Rich Hill (12-8) was magnificent in his final start of the season, surrendering just two hits, with two walks and ten strikeouts in seven shutout innings.

Hill also continued to rake at the plate. After an RBI double in his last start, Hill added an RBI single in the bottom of the second to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead.

Yasiel Puig got the long ball party started with a solo shot to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning for his 27th home run of the season.

The Dodgers went back-to-back in the bottom of the sixth inning off Padres pitcher Kirby Yates.

The Dodgers tied the Los Angeles record with 102 wins, and lowered their Magic Number to clinch the best record in baseball and guarantee home field advantage throughout the World Series (should they reach that far), to one game over both the Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros.
