Dodgers to Hold Rally at L.A. Live Today

The Los Angeles Dodgers will hold a rally at L.A. Live today in conjunction with the start of their annual preseason caravan.

Outfielder Andre Ethier, infielder Blake DeWitt, pitcher Hiroki Kuroda and recently signed catcher Brad Ausmus will join announcer Charley Steiner, former manager Tommy Lasorda and former players Fernando Valenzuela, Steve Garvey, Tommy Davis and Rudy Law in signing autographs for the first 300 fans who obtain wrist bands.

The rally will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at the entertainment complex adjacent to Staples Center. Discounted parking will be available for $8 in the West garage located at 11th Street between Georgia and Cherry streets.

The two-day caravan will conclude Wednesday with catcher Russell Martin, infielders James Loney and Mark Loretta, outfielder Delwyn Young, pitcher James McDonald, and former Dodgers Ron Cey, "Sweet Lou" Johnson, Kenny Landreaux and Bobby Castillo serving lunch at Canter's Deli from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

The group will then tape an appearance on the long-running CBS game show "The Price is Right," including participating in the presentation of a showcase featuring special Dodger experiences and prizes.

If you haven't been down to L.A. Live yet, this is as good an excuse as any to go check it out. Plus, you'll get to see some current Dodgers and some of the franchise's all-time greats. Sounds like a great time, hope to see you there.
