UCLA Forward Nikola Dragovic Arrested On Suspicion Of Battery

UCLA junior forward Nikola Dragovic was arrested for suspicion of battery. Dragovic, 20, went to his apartment that he shared with a woman and found all his stuff sitting on the curb.

"He and the ex-girlfriend began to argue. He got mad and pushed her down," Harding said.

Dragovic was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $20,000.

Dragovic, a Serbian native, missed UCLA's exhibition win over Biola. Last season, he averaged 9.2 minutes a game for the Bruins, putting up 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds.

Head coach Ben Howland has no plans to discipline him until he gets all the facts.

"She's a great kid. Nikola's a great kid. I'm very confident everything will be rectified soon," Howland said.
