LOS ANGELES -- In honor of Veterans Day, veterans with military identification will receive a 50 percent discount on green fees at Los Angeles County golf courses on Tuesday, it was announced Thursday.
The discount excludes tournament play, according to a statement from county Supervisor Don Knabe.
"As Veterans Day approaches, it is important to recognize the many contributions that veterans have made for our great county over the years," Knabe said.
