Jackson Has No Use For Bynum's Petulance

In the key minutes of the loss to Indiana, Andrew Bynum thought he should be on the court. He could have got those needed rebounds, he said in so many words to the assembled press after the game.

Phil Jackson doesn’t sit well with 21 year olds questioning his judgment.

"That's none of his business. He just goes out and plays. That's his job," Jackson said matter-of-factly. When pressed further, he smiled wryly and added, "He's a kid. He doesn't know any better."

Bynum is a 21-year-old emerging center struggling to get key minutes on a team loaded with All Stars and quality veterans. You want the minutes kid — earn them. For example, when coach puts you in for the final key seconds of a tight game, try boxing out Troy Murphy.
