Knee Surgery Benches USC's Cunningham for Rest of Season

Southern California forward Kasey Cunningham is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Wednesday.

Cunningham, a 6-foot-7 sophomore, was injured Sunday in the second half of USC's 83-72 loss to Missouri at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. He was hit on the left side of his knee as he went up to shoot.

He is averaging 2.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in four games this season.

Cunningham missed his entire freshman season due to a left knee injury sustained during his senior year of high school. He re-injured the knee last season after nine games and had surgery Dec. 28 to repair his left ACL and meniscus.
