Los Angeles FC has re-signed veteran MLS defenders Jordan Harvey and Dejan Jakovic.

The defending Presidents' Trophy winners announced the moves Tuesday.

Harvey and Jakovic combined to start 42 games on LAFC's back line last season.

The 35-year-old Harvey contributed one goal and five assists in 2019. The Orange County native and UCLA product has been a regular for LAFC since he joined the expansion club for its inaugural season in 2018 after a decade with three MLS teams.

Harveys' 27,454 career minutes in MLS play are the 15th-most in league history, and fifth-most among active non-goaltenders.

Jakovic is a 34-year-old Croatian-born Canadian who spent five years with D.C. United earlier in his career. His contract option for 2020 was declined by LAFC earlier in the offseason, but the sides subsequently reached a new deal.
