MONTEREY, Calif. -- After a day playing alongside the gorgeous Pebble Beach coastline, people want to know: Where do the stars go?
As for the local celebrities who live in the Pebble Beach area, one volunteer managed to catch a glimpse of Clint Eastwood himself.
"He had his hat on. He has wonderful hair and I thought, 'Why is he wearing his hat?'" Martin said.
Wednesday was the celebrity shoot out and it ended in a very dramatic fashion.
One of the favorites of the week Bill Murray nearly won. The drama of the momment felt like the end of a Disney movie. All Murray needed was to bank a three foot put and his team would win.
As thousands of people looked on, Murry told the crowd that this was the biggest putt of his life.
Second later, he proved he is a better funny man than golfer. He missed the hole and lost the shoot out.
Also Wednesday, the Monterey Conference Center held its annual event for the tee-off celebration dedicated to the pro-am volunteers.
The crowd included a group of ladies who get to walk alongside the stars.
"I'm scoring for Andy Garcia and George Lopez tomorrow so I'm excited," said volunteer Kelly Martin.
"I would love to have Peyton Manning, any football star would be wonderful, absolutely wonderful," said Tonya Miguel.
The line up for the Wednesday gig included Huey Lewis, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Ray Romano, Kevin James, and Clay Walker.
