Serena Williams will be back playing at Wimbledon after capturing the Grand Slam title at the All England Club earlier in the year. The Bryan brothers of Southern California also will compete in doubles.

Two-time gold medal winners Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh will take to the sand to start their quest for a third straight gold. May-Treanor has announced that the London Games will be her last.

South El Monte’s Joseph Diaz Jr. steps into the ring with a good chance of taking home gold in the men's bantamweight. He is a two-time national champion in that weight class.
