SummerSlam 2021: How to Watch John Cena, Goldberg Make Their WWE Return

SummerSlam 2021: How to watch John Cena, Goldberg make their WWE return originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Time to dust off some legends.

With John Cena and Goldberg both getting title shots on Saturday, SummerSlam is a Hulk Hogan and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson cameo away from having just about every generation of wrestling represented on a card that has WrestleMania-like vibes.

Cena takes a break from Hollywood to return to the ring for his first televised match in over a year as he takes on Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. The 54-year-old Goldberg gets his second shot at the WWE Championship this year when he faces Bobby Lashley, hoping to show that not even Father Time can slow an unstoppable force.

Take your pick:

Roman Reigns vs. John Cena -- Universal Championship

Cena attempts to once again take a seat at the head of the table, seeking a 17th world championship that would break a tie with Ric Flair for most all time. To do so, he'll have to beat The Head of the Table, with Reigns in the midst of a dominant title reign that he doesn't anticipate ending prematurely at the hands of a part-time wrestler and full-time movie star.

Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg -- WWE Championship

Goldberg steps back into the ring for the first time since January when he lost a WWE championship match to Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble. The WWE Hall of Famer now steps into the house of the almighty to face Lashley, who is fresh off a win over Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank.

"Me at 75 percent is better than 99 percent of the schmucks in the world doing what we do," Goldberg said in a recent WWE interview. "So as long as that's the case then I'm still chugging."

Biana Belair vs. Sasha Banks -- Smackdown Women's Championship

The best match of the year so far arguably was Belair against Banks at WrestleMania. The animosity between the two has since grown following Banks' blindsided attack on Belair on SmackDown in July. The rematch could top the original.
