How To Win Tickets To Kobe Bryant's Final Game

The Los Angeles Lakers are giving away tickets to Kobe Bryant's final game, while the retiring superstar is also giving away a pair of courtside seats for a small donation

On April 13, 2016, Kobe Bryant will play his final NBA game, and getting into Staples Center is not cheap.

Stubhub lists its cheapest tickets at $700, and that hefty sum provides a view from the top of Staples Center in the cheap seats behind the basket. Get into the vicinity of courtside seats, and the price jumps up to the neighborhood of $20,000 and higher.

Well, fans aching to get into Staples Center now have a couple different ways to get into the arena and experience Bryant's farewell to basketball without breaking the bank.

The Los Angeles Lakers are holding "What Kobe Means Social Media Contest" that requires absolutely no purchase. In order to enter, fans must post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and explain how the 20-year LA Laker has affected their life in a positive manner with the hashtag "#ThankyouKobe" visible on the post. The entry must be posted prior to the end of the day on March 20, 2016. Only one entry is allowed per contestant, and the winner must be 18 years of age.

The winner of the "#ThankYouKobe" contest will receive two tickets to Bryant's finale. Tickets, obviously, cannot be sold or transferred.

However, that's not the only way to win tickets to the most sought after and expensive NBA game in recent memory. Bryant is giving away a pair of tickets on his own, and this prize is more than simply entry into Staples Center. The winner of Bryant's contest gets to sit center court, high-five the superstar as he takes the court and even get flown into LA and put up in a 4-star hotel. Clearly, Bryant is going all out for this grand prize, and the experience of wishing the superstar good luck on his final game from center court is indeed priceless.

So, how does one win this incredible fan experience? Bryant wants a donation to three charitable organizations: Positive Coaching Alliance, After-School All-Stars Los Angeles, and Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. For as little as $10, a trip to LA to slap hands with Bryant before his NBA finale awaits.

For $5,000, an autographed basketball accompanies 50,000 chances to win the grand prize. Other gifts for generous donations include a pair of autographed shoes, a t-shirt and even a banner rally towel.

The frenzy over Bryant's final game should only continue to grow as it draws nearer. So, while ticket prices may be beyond the budget for a large segment of fans, the Lakers and Bryant are working to provide two sets of lucky fans once in a lifetime experiences to bid farewell to the basketball icon in style.
