Every NBA franchise now has a dance team, but they still all aspire to be the Laker Girls. Which is why you should be voting for them in the NBA’s shameless hucksterism brilliant idea of a Dance Team Bracket.

The Laker girls open against the New Orleans Hornets Honeybees. Ignoring the horrid cross-pollination of that name, this is not even a contest. At least in the second round the Laker Girls would have to face off against other California Girls, either Golden State or Sacramento.

If you are going to vote in this, we just want to be sure that, like any vote cast in an election, you have really done your due diligence. Studied the issues, looked closely at the candidates. That’s the only way you can really make an informed choice.
