Suspect Sought in String of Subway, Liquor Store Robberies in San Fernando Valley

One man is alleged to have committed a string of robberies at Subway restaurants and liquor stores, mostly in the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for help in identifying and tracking down a suspect in four Subway robberies and three liquor store robberies, based in the San Fernando Valley, that took place over a two-day period on Aug. 6 and Aug. 7.

On Aug. 5, 2018, the suspect asked to see a bottle of liquor at a store on the 4000 block of Fulton Avenue. When the clerk handed the suspect the bottle of liquor from behind the counter, the suspect ran out of the store, according to the LAPD.

The next day, the suspect committed five armed robberies in the Hollywood Area, West Hollywood Area and continuing into the San Fernando Valley, per LAPD.

On Aug. 7, the suspect returned to the liquor store on Fulton Avenue in Van Nuys and attempted to rob them at gunpoint, and the suspect committed two robberies of Subway restaurants after the liquor store robbery per LAPD.

The LAPD has released surveillance footage of one of the Subway robberies and the two incidents at the liquor store hoping to identify the suspect.

LAPD described the suspect as approximately 5'10"- 5'11" with black hair, 160-170 pounds and 20-25 years of age. The suspect used a semi-automatic hand gun per authorities.
