A man stripped naked after being caught at the end of a police pursuit Thursday in Woodland Hills.

Officers pursued the man when they responded to reports of a car theft attempt, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said. The man allegedly tried to steal a woman's car at the 5000 block of Serrania Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.

He ended up getting pursued in another vehicle to the intersection of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Dumetz Road, where he stripped naked before being taken into custody.

The victim was injured, however she was treated at the scene and released, police said.
