Suspects at Large After Pulling Up to Home, Killing Man Inside

Investigators said the suspects were riding in a flat-bed style truck.

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in Whittier in what sheriff's deputies believe was a gang-related shooting.

The man was found at 11:07 p.m. Saturday at a home on the 11600 block of Nan Street in Whittier and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Investigators said three men in a flat-bed style truck drove up to the home where two of them got out, went inside and confronted the man, He was shot him several times, Koerner said.

Afterward, the two men got back into the truck, which headed west on Nan Street. deputies said.

"At this time, the shooting is believed to be gang related," Koerner said.
