Textile, Sewing Business Catches Flames in South Los Angeles

Firefighters spent the early part of Saturday morning battling a large blaze at a textile and sewing business in South Los Angeles, but no one was injured.

The fire was reported in the one-story building at 12:25 a.m. at 2635 S. Main St., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

It took 115 firefighters three hours and 26 minutes to extinguish the flames, he said. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
