Three people were arrested Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a soon-to-be married man who tried to follow an alleged robber in San Bernardino, police said.
Police arrested Monique Carvajal, 19, Frankie Miranda, 20, and Mariah Jimenez, 18, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Christian Morales, 19, was shot multiple times around 8:30 p.m. near the 1300 block of West Poplar Avenue after the car he was in chased an alleged robber on May 23. Morales was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he died, according to a news release from the SBPD.
Morales was days away from getting married when he died, according to his family.
Two of the three suspects arrested had previous criminal histories, police said.
It was unclear if Carvajal, Miranda, or Jimenez had attorneys.
