Three people were critically hurt in a head-on car collision in Fountain Valley late Wednesday.
The smash happened at the corner of Edinger Avenue and Los Flored Street at around 10 p.m, a Fountain Valley Fire Department spokesman said.
A motorist in one car and two women in the other suffered critical injuries. Two other people in the latter vehicle were treated and released at the scene.
The injured were taken to the UCI Medical Center for treatment.
