On Feb. 3, 2013, a terrifying Southern California crime spree began when a couple was found slain in the parking garage of an Orange County apartment complex. The investigation and a lengthy manifesto posted by the killer a day later led to one of the largest manhunts in local history for a rogue ex-Los Angeles police officer bent on revenge.
Christopher Dorner led police on a zig-zagging hunt from LA to the U.S.-Mexican border before heading to the mountains of Big Bear where he died after a gun battle with law enforcement.
Sunday marks six years since the deadly rampage.
