One person was killed in a motorcycle crash early Monday on the 134 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.
The 38-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of 4:30 a.m. crash in the Toluca Lake area. A witness reported that the motorcyclist crashed into the center divider, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim's identity was not immediately available.
The southbound 101 and 170 freeway transitions to the eastbound 134 Freeway were closed early Monday for the crash investigation. Aerial video showed backup on freeways and streets near the interchange throughout the morning.
