Two Men Arrested in Sexual Assault of Homeowner

Two men have been arrested in the sexual assault of a homeowner in Riverside, police said Monday.

Brandon Bobb and Keshawn Amis, both 20, were arrested in connection with the home invasion and sexual assault that took place last Tuesday in the Canyon Crest neighborhood southwest of the Canyon Crest Country Club golf course, the Riverside Police Department said.

On that night, the woman awoke to her dog barking, before two men broke into her home and assaulted her, police said. The men then fled with property.

Officers searched the area extensively but could not locate the men.

Detectives followed leads, including a description of the car and a partial license plate, and identified the two suspects.

Bobb, of Bloomington, was arrested Friday. Amis, of Riverside, was arrested two days later. The face charges including home invasion robbery, as well as sex offenses.
