The second man paced in front of the store just before a robbery, and distracte a witness - who turned out to be an off-duty police officer - during the robbery.

Both men fled on foot, running to the back of adjoining businesses. The off-duty police officer chased after them once the store clerk made him aware of the robbery, but was unable to locate them.
