Five people were sent to the hospital Sunday morning when an Uber car collided with another vehicle in Costa Mesa, authorities said.
The Uber driver was unharmed, according to a Costa Mesa Police spokesman, and none of the injuries were life-threatening. It was unclear how many of the people involved were Uber passengers.
The two vehicles crashed at about 1 a.m. near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Wilson Street, officials said.
Police didn't know what caused the crash, which was under investigation.
