UCLA police Wednesday released security images of two men sought for burglarizing the off-campus residence of two students.

The crime occurred some time before 9 a.m. March 18 in the 600 block of Landfair Avenue, said UCLA police Lt. Kevin Kilgore.

The suspects took items valued at about $4,500 from the UCLA students' home, Kilgore said.

The suspects were both described as Middle Eastern or Hispanic, about 25 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 150-160 pounds.

One man had a dark beard and mustache, and he wore a red hoodie, a black skull cap, and black sweatpants with yellow stripes.

The other man had dark hair worn in a bun, a dark beard, and tattoos on the left side of his neck. He wore a black baseball cap with a red "S" on the front, a black-and-yellow "M&M" logo jacket, green pants, and a yellow fanny pack.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call UCLA police detectives at (310) 825-1491.
