Possible Serial Robber Strikes at Another Santa Clarita Valley Bank

A man who robbed a credit union in Valencia might be connected to other recent robberies in the Santa Clarita Valley over the last two months.

No weapon was seen during the robbery, which was reported about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Logix Credit Union in the 27000 block of McBean Parkway, according to the FBI's Laura Eimiller. The robber, who is white and in his 50s or 60s, passed a note, Eimiller said.

In addition to looking into the man's possible involvement in other area robberies, investigators are following up on various vehicle descriptions provided by witnesses, Eimiller said.

The robber, wearing a white cap, was caught on camera June 12 during a heist at a Well Fargo bank in the 24000 block of Lyons Avenue in Newhall.
