A person was stabbed Monday on a Metro Expo Line platform in the West Adams district.
The male victim was stabbed at about 5:30 p.m. at the Expo/La Brea Station at the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and La Brea Avenue and was taken to a hospital, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
The extent of his injuries and his condition were not immediately available.
The suspect, described as a man about 60 who was wearing a black shirt and hat, used a 12-inch stainless steel blade and was not in custody, Madison said.
