A Victorville man is in custody after police responded to a shooting in Barstow on Saturday.
Joshua Inscho, 23, was booked for the shooting death of Samantha Hedger, 22.
Barstow deputies and paramedics responded to the 25000 block of Avenida Laredo, where Hedger was found shot.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff's Homicide investigators determined that the Hedger and Inscho, were at a party in the area where they got into an argument.
During the argument Inscho, pulled out a gun and pointed it at another party goer, when Hedger and an another person grabbed Inscho.
He shot the gun, striking Hedger.

Inscho fled in a vehicle, and authorities found him hiding in a storm drain.
